In November 2016, we operated a total of 4,287 passenger flights across our entire international network, with an on-time departure rate of 90.3%. On our domestic network, 90.8% of 19,083 total flights departed on-time. We are always striving to do even better than before, continuously looking for new ways to ensure all of our guests arrive at their destinations on-time and safely.
The JAL Group is the most awarded airline group in FLIGHTSTATS On-time Performance Service Awards History, having placed first overall in the Major International Airline Category for a record 5 times (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015). In 2015, JAL Group took home awards jor International, Asia-Pacific Major, and Airline Alliance categories for the 2015 FLIGHTSTATS On-time Performance Awards. This is the fourth time in JAL’s history having achieved this feat, and the fifth time JAL has won the Major International Airline category overall. For 2016, the JAL Group once again placed first in the highly competitive Asia-Pacific region, completing 87.80% of total flights on time. JAL’s Mainline operations placed second in the Major International Airline category with an on-time arrival rate of 87.33%.
